Rural to Urban Connectivity

Standard GPS apps often ignore rural transit agencies. Our algorithm integrates data from county-level providers like BRATS, SCATS, and HELP Inc., connecting them seamlessly to urban centers like Birmingham and Mobile.

Transparent Cost Estimation

Eliminate the guesswork of travel costs. The Integrated Mobility Guide calculates fare estimates across different zones, including specific discounts for seniors (60+) and travelers with disabilities.

🚄

Multi-Modal Routing

We support complex trip chains involving fixed-route buses, inter-city rail (Amtrak), and rideshare bridges. The system identifies when a "last-mile" connection is needed and suggests the appropriate transfer.

About the Creator

This platform was developed by Alex Aguillon, a student at the University of Alabama dedicated to solving complex mobility challenges.

With years of experience in the public transportation sector and a specialization in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Alex created VeroAtlantic to modernize how Alabamians navigate their state. The project combines advanced spatial analysis with user-centric design to serve underrepresented rural communities.
